THE BESTIARY UNDER THE STARS
Colorful and poetic, here are the eight first little flags from the Bestiary under the stars : the lion, the panther, the two coyotes, the buffalo, the giraffe, the bear and the elephant.
They are made of heavy cotton, sunflower yellow or rosewood pink, put on a wooden beech stick with a natural linen string. They are entirely hand embroidered, sewn and painted — and sawn and pierced.
They are also unique and numbered pieces.
THE SUNFLOWER YELLOW
The animals and the back of the flags are embroidered with black cotton thread and depending on the designs, the stars are sky blue or ice blue. The bush on the back is stencil painted with acid free painting.
THE ROSEWOOD PINK
The animals and the back of the flags are also embroidered with black cotton thread and the bush is painted with the same black painting than the one used for the yellow little flags but I choose a phosphorescent thread for the starry skys so they subtly glow in the dark.
The little flags from the Bestiary under the stars will make an original gift to welcome a new-born and will be perfect in a kid room.
And Dears, you may find them on the Shop right now.
As for me, I am going back to my new serie of embroideries Edith Forever.
